News » Five Angels Still Very Much With Us
On June 26, 2007 five young ladies from Fairport were killed in a car crash, just days after their high school graduation. The impact of this tragedy was felt across the nation, but especially in Rochester and its surrounding areas. We remember it well and it touched us all in different ways. The feeling crept back around its one year anniversary, but this time there was a chance for us to get involved in some positive reinforcement.
In early July we met with Meryl and John, board members for the Angel Walk. The Angel Walk is an event held in the memory of Hannah, Bailey, Meredith, Sara and Katie with all proceeds going to the Fairport-Perinton Dollars for Scholars Five Fairport Angels Memorial Scholarship. The walk was set up, but they needed a website to help with distributing information and showcasing the cause. We were more than happy to help out by designing a site to serve as their place on the web and link to some of the great groups on the Facebook social networking platform honoring the girls.
We encourage you to check it out, and more importantly help out a great cause. The Fairport Angel Walk is August 1st, and you can register or donate from the FiveAngels.org website.
